Please feel free to give feedback on these instructions if, for example, any of the instructions are incomplete or if you miss some important piece of information. Give feedback.

Telephone and email advice

Our advisory and information service on +358 29 509 5959 is open Monday to Friday 9.00–15.00. We answer questions about notifications, advise on where to find instructions and give information.

You can also ask for advice by email at neuvonta.yhdistysasiat@prh.fi.

The limits of the advisory service

The scope of advice that our customer service staff can give is laid down in the Administrative Procedure Act. Thus, our staff can answer only the following questions concerning the filing of notifications to the Register of Associations:

  • How can I submit a notification?
  • Which form should I use?
  • Which enclosures or documents must accompany my notification?
  • How much is the handling fee?
  • What is the notification procedure like and what steps does it include?
  • What is the current status of my notification, who is in charge of the processing and how long is it estimated to take?
  • What is the significance of the register and what are the judicial implications of registration?

The advisory service of the Register of Associations pays special attention to treating its customers equally and impartially. Therefore, please remember the following:

  • Our advisory staff are not obliged to fill in forms or draw up documents for the customers. Neither do we carry out preliminary checks of any forms or their attachments. Furthermore, the advisory staff cannot anticipate whether a specific notification or application is actually going to pass.
  • We give advice only on matters concerning the Register of Associations. Our advisory service staff are not able to give information on more extensive judicial questions.
