How to lodge an appeal against the PRH’s decision to remove a company from the Finnish Trade Register due to missing beneficial owner details
These instructions are intended for companies that the PRH has removed from the Finnish Trade Register due to missing beneficial owner details.
Our deregistration process follows the procedure set out in chapter 20, section 5 of the Finnish Limited Liability Companies Act or chapter 23, section 5 of the Finnish Co-operatives Act. Under these sections, the PRH may remove the company from the register even if no proof is available of the company having received the request or reminder.
The PRH sent its decision and appeal instructions to the address as recorded in the Finnish Business Information System at ytj.fi.
How to lodge an appeal against the PRH’s decision
The PRH does not accept appeals concerning the decision. The company may appeal the decision at the Helsinki Administrative Court. The company must lodge its appeal within 30 days of being notified of the decision. Go to the Helsinki Administrative Court website.Open link in a new tab
Requests concerning correction of errors made by the PRH
If the PRH has made an error during the procedure, you can address a request concerning correction of the error to the PRH. An example of such an error is if the PRH has registered the notification of beneficial owners under the wrong Business ID. A situation where the company has not received requests or reminders related to the procedure cannot be regarded as an error.
