Deposit Account
The Deposit Account is a way for companies to pay patent and utility model payments via our Payment Service, at any time and without the delays caused by banking services. The Deposit Account is primarily meant for companies with a large number of patent and utility model fees. Companies deposit money into their Deposit Account by bank transfer. The minimum deposit required to open a Deposit Account is EUR 5,000.
The company and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) enter into a deposit account agreement, after which the PRH will open the account. The use of the service requires identification. Additionally, the company must grant authorisation to the users who use the account. Read more about identification and authorisation.
If you wish to open a Deposit Account or file changes to an existing account, send an email to neuvonta.patentti(a)prh.fi.
