Our new online patent service will be launched at the end of February 2025

In the week beginning 24 February 2025, the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) will introduce a new Patent Service. This browser-based service will replace the current Epoline Online Filing (eOLF) software. The current eOLF software can be used until the end of May 2025.

You can use the first version of our new service to:

• file Finnish patent applications or utility model applications
• respond to office actions or submit supplements to your applications
• file applications for supplementary protection certificates (SPCs)

The second version of our new service will be introduced in spring 2025. You can use it to:

• validate European patents in Finland
• file international applications (PCT applications)
