New fea­tu­re in our open data ser­vice: in­ter­face to add di­gi­tal fi­nancial sta­te­ment in­for­ma­tion to your applica­tion

We have revamped the PRH open data service, which allows application developers to access company data.
You can now use the service’s new interface to retrieve details of digital financial statements filed with the Finnish Trade Register. You can only access details of profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.

Information only about financial statements in IXBRL format

The interface only provides details of digital financial statements prepared using the IXBRL reporting language. They represent about 5 per cent of all financial statements. You can buy other financial statements via our Virre Information Service.

In digital financial statements in IXBRL format, the details are presented in a consistent standard format and in a particular order.

You need a taxonomy for financial statement details to be able to use digital financial statement details. Go to the taxonomy on the website Avoindata.fi.Open link in a new tab

What are PRH open data?

The PRH’s open data are available free of charge. You can use the interfaces to add details about companies, except private traders, registered at the Finnish Trade Register to your application.

Use the interfaces to access basic details from the Finnish Business Information System at ytj.fi, as well as details about notifications registered at the Finnish Trade Register and digital financial statements. The data are updated once a day.
