The Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS) warns companies of scam letters

According to BRIS, a scam letter is in circulation. The sender of the letter poses as the European Commission and the European e-Justice Portal and asks for a fee to confirm company details on the Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS).

The letter is a scam. Do not send money to the given account.

The company information provided on the European e-Justice Portal through BRIS is gathered in real time from the business registers of the Member States, without any fees for companies.
